When I was running today, one realization just popped up in my mind out of nowhere. I came to realize that there are two ways how people respond to money. I call the the first group the push group. As more money comes into their lives, they push away the money by doing charity works, spend more leisure time like traveling, eating out etc. On the other side of coin, you've guessed it. I call them the pull group. Once money reached their hands, most of the money just stays in their hands forever.
I have more to day about this topic but I need to go so to be continued....
So many recipes and restaurants to try but I only have one mouth. =(
Just tried putting some crushed cardamom into my cereal. Man, it tastes really good. I'm wondering if I'm the only person doing this.
I learned how to cook paneer makhani and tandoori murghi over the weekend. I'm so happy now. I particularly appreciate how indian cuisine fuses different types of spices and produce a good tasting food.
I'm eating my breakfast right now. It's a mix of strawberry, blueberry and rasberry on top of yogurt.
I'm really depressed right now. I don't know where to go from here. FUCK!!!
It's tough to be optimistic and happy when you're suffering in physical pain. I'm having this headache the past 3 weeks or so. This headache is just killing me. I don't want to justify the decision I'm about to make or I have made but at this point of my life, I want to live in a life with no regrets. I don't want to doubt what should have been. I don't want to look back but to look forward.
Just to put some numbers to back up my claim about fruit juice. If I drink fruit juice before I go to the gym, I can burn 900 to 1000 calories and even after the workout, I still feel energetic and strong. On the other hand, if I don't drink, I can only burn 500 to 600 calories. Today is a good example. Generally, Sunday is the day I feel the strongest since I didn't come from work. But no matter how hard I tried to reach the 1000 calories mark, I just couldn't. I ended up just burning 500 calories.
The fruit combination that I've tried so far are
1. Cantaloupe, Carrots
2. Apple, Carrots, Pineapple
3. Carrots, Pineapple
4. Pineapple, Strawberry'
I'm thinking of trying
Apple, Strawberry
Apple, Carrots
Whenever I drink fruit juice before working out, I tend to workout much longer and burn more calories because I don't get tired easily. I'm not sure if this is a result of psychological effect, the nutrition of the juice or both. I just know it helps. Hence, fruit juice is king.
So far, I've been utilizing my newly acquired juicer every day. Hopefully, I will continue using it for long long period of time.
Now:
Body Fat Percent: ~13%
Weight: 154 lbs.
Waist: 33 inches
Goal:
Body Fat Percent: 10% and below
Weight: 150 lbs.
Waist: 31 or 32 inches
I will do the measurement again after a month. I hope the goal I've set is realistic within a month.
Please don't judge me as I don't want to be judged. I know I'm judgemental myself but I'm trying hard not to be.
If you eat too much and you're too fat, I have a problem with it. If you don't like eating and you're too skinny, I have a problem with it as well.
For the fat people, don't enjoy too much that you forget about you're health. For the skinny people, come on, enjoy life. Eating is one of the best thing in life that you can do every day.
